Chinook and coho move along the outer coast in season, with summer the main chinook period and coho following in autumn. Sechelt Inlet and the adjoining fjords are known for prawns, subject to seasonal openings and area closures. The inlet's sheltered water fishes very differently from the exposed strait outside.
